In addition to drivers, many team members that have worked under Eric's tutelage have gone on to successful careers in Indy Car, IMSA and many junior formula series around the world.
Chuck West
Chuck West is EFM Racing's primary driver coach. More than simply a driver coach, Chuck's "whole life" approach to racing encompasses much more than on track performance. His balance of a concentrated fitness regimen, a proper diet including proprietary supplements he has developed himself, and a mental conditioning program all contribute to a driver's success.
Chuck was a vastly successful driver, finishing 2nd in the 1991 Star Mazda series and backing that success up by winning the 1992 Star Mazda Overall Championship. Chuck moved up to the extremely competitive Formula Atlantic Championship the next few years and finished on the podium regularly against much higher funded teams.
Chuck also knows the business side of racing extremely well, having founded World Speed Motorsports in 1991, owning the team until 2003. His perspective as a large team owner allows him to give young drivers unparalleled advice as they move their careers forward.

Professional Grade Mechanics
EFM Racing hires extremely experienced and highly dedicated mechanics. Our primary lead mechanics, Bob Wash (left) and JJ Ho (right) have worked with teams from Formula Ford though the top ranks of the sport. More than simply a solid wrench to keep the car running, these guys are strong team members that contribute to the entire effort and give EFM racing their incredible finishing record. EFM does work with other team members, but all our employees and contract help are of very high caliber.
