EFM Racing is, Earthbound Flying Machines Sports 2000 Racing Team and its owner is Eric Purcell.
 
We at EFM are dedicated to the Motorsport industry as an engineering resource to auto racing teams and drivers competing within SCCA Sports 2000 or S2 class running the Van Diemen RFS-22 chassis.
 
The focus of EFM is to elevate the SCCA experience for the driver and assist with engineering, coaching, and logistics while competing in Regional, National, and the season ending championship Run-Offs now held in Topeka Kansas.

While Eric Purcell has been involved in many different types of professional motorsport, functioning first as a driver and now engineer and coach, be lends decades of experience to the driver, team, and development of the car. The mission is to bring professional racecar and team management that Eric has been involved with back to the EFM Racing Team.
 
The purpose of the EFM Racing Team is to bring together similar racing cars and drivers to function as a team, off the track, to take advantage of testing, development, and logistical opportunities all working within a managed environment.
